Muscle-car enthusiasts and family-fun seekers alike will want to mark Saturday, Aug. 10, on their calendars. That’s when local Carpenters unions, for the second consecutive year, will host a vintage car show to benefit their food shelf.
Hot-rods owners will compete for 10 best-in-show trophies, and the first 40 vintage cars to arrive at the event will receive dashboard plaques. The event also will feature a garage sale, food for purchase and door prizes.
Admission is free with two non-perishable food items or a cash donation to the Carpenters Union Food Shelf.
The car show will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters offices, located at 740 Olive Street in St. Paul.
