The Twin Cities area has its fifth union bookstore, after workers at the Half Price Books in Apple Valley voted last month to organize with United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 663.

Since Minnesota workers formed the first union at a Half Price Books location, booksellers at stores in Indiana, Illinois, Kansas and California have unionized, too.
