As a labor movement, it’s imperative that we mobilize union members to get to the polls and vote in our general election on or before Nov. 5.

“With Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, your paycheck is safe, your health care is secure and your pension is protected,” one labor leader said.

“We know Minnesota can meet its affordable housing needs and development goals without sacrificing worker dignity and safety.”

At the heart of the “Labor 2024” campaign will be conversations between union members – in the break room, on the doorstep or over the phone – about what matters to them.

Now is a great time to look back at 1934, to learn how a wide range of workers changed the course of history and to consider how today’s workers might change this course themselves.
